Reliable, Smart, and Efficient Cooling Infrastructure

Redundant Power  & Pumps
Dual power feeds ensure uninterrupted operation.
Smart Integrated Controls
Each chiller has a PLC with a 10.1" display, supporting BACNet, Modbus, and automated setpoint adjustments.
High-Efficiency Heat Transfer
A variable flow control valve scales cooling capacity without manual rebalancing, maintaining system stability.
Durable, Corrosion-Resistant Piping
Non-corrosive Aquatherm SDR11 primary piping and 316-grade stainless steel secondary piping ensure long-term reliability.
Advanced Flow & Remote Monitoring
Flow monitoring is included for both circuits, with optional remote central monitoring available.

Three Modes of Operation

Free Cooling
On cooler days, return hydronic fluid from the facility is cooled by ambient air using the fluid cooler coils, and both compressor circuits are off.
Mechanical Assist
As outdoor temperature increases, one or both compressors start, and additional trim cooling is provided by the compressor circuits.
Full Mechanical
As the outdoor temperature increases further, the fluid cooler coils are bypassed, and all cooling is done by the compressor circuits.

Climate-Smart Climate Control

ThermalWorks primary hydronic loop (over 90% of system fluids) uses non-toxic glycol with zero Global Warming Potential (GWP). Each Chiller also contains a factory-sealed mechanical loop which uses ultra-clean R-1234ze or R-515b, some of the lowest GWP refrigerants available anywhere.
